flight cancelled

At 2:00 am I found out that my flight was cancelled.. This si the first time all year that we've had snow all year.. UN FREKIN REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could have left from JFK or Lagurdia later this afternoon but who knows if they would have been cancelled too..

We are leaving tomorrow morning & returning on Sunday nite, so much for a direct flight on Saturday.. pray that our flight leave on time tomorrow so we dont miss our connection!!!!

This one is for you Sue!!!

Today was the funeral for a dear friend of mine who died at the age of 50.. WAY TO YOUNG!!!!.. she was fine a few weeks ago & now shes gone.. I talk about her because she had a hand in the great news we received today from carol... I know it was beacause of Maria's hard work (our guatemalan lawyer) that I can smile today, but I rec'd this news at Sue's funeral & it made me cry happy tears & Sue wouldnt want anything else but for us to all be happy & remember all the good times we had.. On such a hard day for Sue's family they even told me that they cant wait to see Rachel when she comes home.. They are all so excited for me..

Now, the great news, we were officially registered with the new Central Authority today.. This had to be done by tomorrow or basically Rachel was never coming home.. Maria was on line all night to get all of our cases registered.. We are hoping to be back in PGN by the end of the week.. What a way to end my trip, with our case actually moving again, its been a month now with NOTHING!!!! Lets hope PGN pushes through these cases quickly so Rachel can come home soon..

Me & my mom are leaving Wednesday morning to see CHUNK, I can hardly wait to have her back in my arms. & yes ladies I will have the laptop & I will post pics as soon as I can.. she will have all of her outfits & the gifts that she got from the other mommies that are waiting for their babies too!!!!

please pray that all of us get to bring home our little ones real soon...

I received new pictures last nite of Rachel & OHHHHHHHH boy has she gotten big...her new name is chunky monkey... She weighs 14 pounds now.. % more days till I hold her again...

well, 19 more days till I get told hold Rachel again & i'm getiing ANTSY!!! to say the least... It will be 2 months since i've seen her last, it seem like 2 years.. My hope is that we return to PGN by the first wk of February & we breeze through PGN... waiting at least another 8 weeks to get out is like torture.. I cant wait to get to Guatemala to be with Rachel & spend the weeken with kristi & angela...

central authority news

well, I spoke with Carol yesterday & she told me that maria was going to register my case with the Central Authority.. after we are registered, maria has to return 8 dayds later to get some kind of certificate. once she has the certificate we can be reenterd back into PGN. We are hoping to be back in PGN by the first week of February..

next week Rachel will be sporting new jade earings that grandma bought her from the Jade factory in Antigua...

I am so excited that we will be visitng Rachel again in just a few short weeks... We are going from Feb 13-16.. Its me & my mom this time, Sam has work to do in the house that needs to be done before Rachel arrives.. The nice thing is that Kristi & angela along with Elli & julia will be there too. We will be having a birthday party for miss Elli. It will be an all girls weekend. I will be spending valentine's day with my love Rachel....

A BIG FAT KO

ok, so after work i took a little nap b/c my allergies are killing me (its january for god s sake) anyway, i was having a bad dream when I was awaken by the phone ringing, &amd; I saw it was Carol on th ID.. I knew it wasnt good....needless to say we got KO'D for no PA(pre approval from the us embassy to take rachel into he US) &and cant go back in until we register with the half non existent CA.. I knew it was coming so i'm ok.. I just hope we can get back in soon... I only needed one more day!!! remember my PA came the day after we were submitted into PGN..The good news is that PGN is looking at the files, &and I'm hoping that was my only KO, ∧ lets hope its not this big ordeal to register with the CA.. carol said that the people at the CA assured that all of our babies are coming home.... lets hope they arent stringing us along....
