One step at a time

On Thursday Nov 21st Rachel took 2 steps WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO... I know its much easier when kids arent walking but Jeez!!! shes 14 1/2 months already... she was so excited that she took steps.. she was clapping away.. I figured another month she'll be on the go, just in time for christmas... christmas pics soo

A gift from my friend Kristi

here is the gift that my friend Kristi sent me for my birthday, its hanging proud in my dining room. She happens to think that I dont like it but its beautifully framed & has Rachel's name & the date of her christening. Ive gotten so many complimemts on it.. Its kinda strange to see me & sam hanging there.. other than our wedding pic all the other photos are of Rachel, other family & friends.. not many of us..

Like ive said many many times before, this adoption process has brought many other things into my life other than Rachel.. the friends that ive made along the way.. Kristi is one of them, I would have never made it through the misery of the adoption process had it not been for her... so thank you!!!!! she is a lifelong friend thats for sure.. I just wish we lived closer, but we will see each other again real soon...

Prayers needed

Today I am asking for your prayers.... On the right side of my blog there are the faces of 2 little girls.. Bella & Abby.. These precious little angels have both been diagnosed with cancer. I cant even imagine what they are going through, in reading their stories I am amazed at the strength that these 2 families have....

14 months old...

Yesterday Rachel turned 14 months old....Shes still not walking yet but really cruising especially with her baby carriage. My Aunt from florida came to visit for a few days.. It was so nice seeing her again.. here are a few pics

Happy Birthday Dada

Today is Sam's birthday.... even though hes home with strept throat, it was a great day anyway.. it's his first birthday as a daddy!!!!! Rachel is a daddy's/grandma girl.. Here's a pic of the two of them that I relly love.. it shows just how much Rachel loves her Dada

Happy Halloween

happy halloween!!!! yesterday was Rachel's first halloween home!!!! she was dressed as a pink poodle.. she looked too cute!! hanging out with sam & my girl.. yep, trick or treating, yeah not so much.. We just brought her to the neighbors house so they could see her.. they all tried to give us candy but I told them.. rachel cant eat it & we dont need it.. After that we went to Friday's for dinner... here are a few pics
